AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Production Associate 

 

Position:  Seasonal Worker (Full-time or Part-time) 

 

Location: Scenic Colrain, MA (Just a short 15-minute drive from Greenfield, MA) 

 
Pay: Position starts at $16/hour and increases to $18/hour after completion of training. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Pre-Roll Production 

  • Measure and weigh cannabis flower. 

  • Grind and prepare cannabis for rolling. 

  • Use manual or automated equipment to fill pre-roll cones or papers. 

  • Ensure pre-rolls meet quality and weight standards. 

  • Packaging Cannabis Products 

  • Fill jars, mylar bags, or other containers with cannabis flower or pre-ground material. 

  • Seal, label, and organize packaged products according to production guidelines. 

  • Labeling and Compliance 

  • Apply compliant labels to jars, pre-roll tubes, and other packaging materials. 

  • Verify accuracy of labeling, including strain names, THC/CBD content, and batch information. 

  • Facility Maintenance and Cleaning 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas. 

  • Sanitize production tools and equipment regularly. 

  • Dispose of waste materials following facility and regulatory guidelines. 

  • Inventory Management 

  • Track and report quantities of products produced and materials used. 

  • Assist with counting and auditing inventory of cannabis and packaging materials. 

  • Preparation for Deliveries 

  • Organize finished products for shipment. 

  • Verify accuracy of delivery orders before transport. 

  • Additional Responsibilities 

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions. 

  • Follow all health, safety, and compliance regulations for cannabis manufacturing. 

  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues or equipment malfunctions. 

  • Other tasks and duties as required. 

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Age 21 or older. 

  • Eligibility to become a Cannabis Control Commission agent (requires a CORI background check) (this process can take 7 to 14 days.) 

  • A collaborative spirit with a positive attitude. 

 

Physical Requirements for the Position: 

 

  • Lifting & Carrying: Ability to lift and carry bags of soil, equipment, and harvested plants, which may weigh up to 50 pounds. 

  • Standing & Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, especially during planting, weeding, and harvesting activities. 

  • Bending & Stooping: Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping are required, especially when attending to ground-level plants or low plant beds. 

  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate plants, use gardening tools, and perform trimming tasks with precision. 

  • Climbing: Occasionally may need to climb ladders or steps to access elevated plant beds or storage areas. 

  • Vision: Must have clear vision to inspect plants for pests and diseases and ensure quality during trimming. 

  • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Protective clothing or gear may be required. 

  • Endurance: The role may demand working for extended hours, especially during peak harvesting seasons.
